New Era for Gordon's As Acquisition Strengthens British Pepper & Spice Portfolio (19/10/05)

Leading herb and spice manufacturer British Pepper & Spice (BPS) today completed the acquisition of Gordon's Fine Foods in a move that consolidates it's position at the forefront of the UK condiments market.

Gordon's Fine Foods is a well-established and highly respected manufacturer of premium condiments and sauces using the finest ingredients, both in its own brand name, as well as for a selection of the UK's finest grocery trade customers including Marks & Spencer, Waitrose and Harrods. Gordon's Fine Foods prides itself on innovation, ingredient provenance & product excellence and the company's award winning range of hand prepared speciality mustards, sauces, savoury jellies, chutneys, combine delicious flavours with attractive, contemporary packaging.

BPS, a member of the SHS group, is the UK's leading dry herb and spice manufacturer. The company is a renowned innovator within the market place, with a track record of product expertise combined with significant capital investment.
