BRITISH PEPPER & SPICE ANNOUNCES NEW APPOINTMENTS (12/07/05)
British Pepper & Spice (BPS), one of the UK's largest suppliers of herbs and spices to leading retailers and food manufacturers has made two new appointments within the company and is also pleased to announce a further internal appointment.
Marianne Elias has joined the company as Senior Development Technologist, whilst Gemma Taylor has been appointed Marketing Assistant.
Marianne has just returned from New Zealand where she worked for Fisher & Paykel - an international technology company. She was responsible for providing cooking products expertise to the UK, as well as selected European markets and developed and produced a series of recipes to showcase latest cooking product innovation, giving her the ideal skills needed for her new position with BPS.
On her appointment, Marianne comments: "British Pepper & Spice is a key player in the category, and I am delighted to have the opportunity to put my skills into practice in this new position. My previous experience has encompassed both the technology and innovation aspects of food and I am looking forward to this new challenge immensely."
Graduate Gemma Taylor received a degree in communication studies from the Sheffield Hallam University. Gemma has experience of working in many aspects of marketing and communications and is now looking forward to developing this experience with BPS.
Gemma comments: "I'm thrilled to be joining British Pepper & Spice. The company had a very successful 2004 and I hope to become a key element of the team communicating the business to customers and consumers throughout 2005 and beyond."
In addition to these new appointments, BPS is also pleased to announce the promotion of Natalie Drew from Marketing Executive to Senior Marketing Executive. Natalie has been with the company for three years, and has enhanced her skills to take a more senior role within the marketing department and will play a central role in communicating the business both internally and externally.
