BRITISH PEPPER & SPICE GIVES CONSUMERS NEW HERB AND SPICE CHOICE (12/07/05)
British Pepper & Spice (BPS), one of the UK's largest suppliers of herbs and spices to leading retailers and food manufacturers is now giving consumers increased access to a comprehensive range of branded herbs and spices through its Millstone brand.
Previously operating largely in the catering sector, Millstone has now been redesigned and repackaged to offer consumers premium quality herb and spice solutions in manageable formats from the country's most respected supplier.
Millstone is now available to independent and convenience retailers nationwide, enabling them to give their shoppers a whole new choice within the category.
There are 58 products in the range which includes peppers, spices, herbs, grinders, curry powders and many other interesting and exotic seasonings.
An increasing number of consumers are doing smaller 'top up' shops and the Millstone range caters for this type of shopper by offering tailored products to enhance meals, before, during or after cooking.
The range is made up mostly of glass jars which gives retailers the opportunity create an impactful on-shelf display whilst allowing consumers to shop the fixture easily and effectively. The products are also colour coded, indicating a clear differentiation between the variety of products.
